Cranberries

There is something special about cranberries around Christmas. The vibrant color, and the nostalgic flavor capture many Christmas moments. Cranberries also offer several health benefits for dogs when fed in moderation. Rich in antioxidants, cranberries help support a strong immune system and combat inflammation. They are also known for promoting urinary tract health by preventing bacteria from sticking to the bladder walls, helping to reduce the risk of urinary infections. Cranberries are a good source of fiber, aiding in digestion and maintaining a healthy gut. Packed with vitamins C and E, they also support skin health and overall vitality, making cranberries a nutritious and tasty treat for your furry friend.

Can you use dried Cranberries?

Yes, however almost all dried cranberries contain extra added sugar, which isn't good for dogs.

Cutting Out Cookies

Get all the feels of rolling out cookie dough, without the obligation to eat any of it. We used small cookie cutters about an inch wide, with Christmas shapes. Feel free to get creative with cookie cutters. You can use bigger shapes too but be sure to increase baking time if you choose this route.

Don't be afraid to use an abundance of flour when rolling out the dough. If you want these cookies to be gluten-free use extra oat flour instead of wheat flour.

While cutting out the treats, we found that the small detailed cookie cutter shapes didn't always lead to the best detailed cookies. If you want a clean-cut cookie, use a food processor to chop the cranberries and grind all of the

oats into flour.
